Woodhaven Cottage is a dramatic open space, occupying the former workshop/artist's studio, now updated into a contemporary and comfortable retreat. A bank of rustic north-facing windows frames a sweeping forest view. French doors look to the western panorama. Skylights, soothing colors, and industrial finishes add to the studio's ambience. A wood-burning stove warms the space in winter, with a blend of madrone, tan-bark oak, and Douglas fir firewood from the property. A queen size bed and a single size sofa bed provide comfortable sleeping for three. An inflatable queen size bed accommodates one or two more. The compact studio kitchen is equiped with a small refrigerator, two-burner stovetop, microwave-toaster oven, coffee maker, cooking utensils and dishware. The brightly-lit bathroom with shower has floor to ceiling tile and a wall of mirror. Satellite TV, DVD player, and phone are provided.
